Sitting at the feet of The Lord, I heard Him say:
From Heaven’s Glory…
to the womb of the virgin Mary…
to a lowly manger…
to walk among men…
to the Cross…
to the grave…
to resurrection from the dead…
to ascension back to Heaven’s Glory…
From Glory to Glory, I have loved you with an everlasting love. We could not leave you in your state of sin, without hope in the world[1]:
I came … that you may have life—abundance life in Me[2].
I came … that you may walk in the Light[3] of My glory and presence, having been filled with My Holy Spirit[4].
I came … that the captives may be set free[7].
I came … that you may have LIFE.
Though [Jesus] was in the form of God,
He chose not to cling to equality with God;
But He poured Himself out to fill a vessel brand new;
a servant in form
and a man indeed.
The very likeness of humanity,
He humbled Himself,
obedient to death—
a merciless death on the cross!
So God raised Him up to the highest place
and gave Him the name above all.
So when His name is called,
every knee will bow,
in heaven, on earth, and below.
And every tongue will confess
“Jesus, the Anointed One, is Lord,”
to the glory of God our Father!
Philippians 2:6-11 (The Voice)
I came … that you may have abundant life through intimacy with Me. As you truly know Me and surrender your life fully to Me, you will come to a greater and greater knowing of My holiness. And My holiness will beget holiness in you.
I came … that you may walk with Me in holiness; being holy, as I am holy[8]. You have complete access! As you lay down your life before Me, you will find that we become one; I in you and you in Me.[9] There is so much that I want to tell you and show you and do through you, and it all starts with holiness. As you pour out your life in holiness as an offering to Me, I will pour heaven’s treasures back into you; filling you with every good thing and purpose that I intended when I created you.
I came … that you might have life and have it to the FULL!
